Free Tickets to Sneak Preview of "Dolphin Tale"

Oh my word.  I have been anticipating this movie like crazy.  Not only is it a family-friendly film (these come along once in a blue moon), but it is an inspirational true story that was filmed right here in Clearwater, FL.  And the icing on the cake is that it stars some of my favorite actors:  Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman.  Not obscure unknown people, but A-list Hollywood actors that can really draw a crowd.  Are we finally getting through to movie studios?  Are they finally realizing that we want to take our kids to see movies without raunchy language, in-your-face sexuality and over-the-top violence?  "Dolphin Tale" looks like it will be a breath of fresh air.

So, here's the good part.......Go to http://www.homeschoolmovieclub.com/ and register to get your FREE advance screening tickets for you and your family!  The sneak preview is playing in select cities only.  I'm lucky enough to live close to Orlando, so that's where my family will be going to preview the film.

Then, do your part!  TELL EVERYONE what you thought of the movie.  Blog about it, mention it on Facebook and Twitter, tell your grocery store cashier!  We want everyone to come out in droves for the premiere date, September 23rd.  Opening weekend is what counts.  That's what constitutes a successful film in the eyes of the studios.

And there's more!  Once you register with Homeschool Movie Club (free, by the way), you'll have access to curriculum plans that correspond with the movie, complete with hands-on experiments about oceans, dolphins and other cetaceans.  I was so excited to see that the plans were written by none other than Sherri Seligson, marine biologist and author of Apologia's Marine Biology curriculum!
Go here to sign up, request your movie tickets and download the curriculum to share with your children!

If you live in Florida or will be vacationing any time soon, visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see Winter the Dolphin in person!  I love being a Florida girl :)

See you soon, HCJ :)
